We Empower Women

Many women and girls around the world are facing different challenges every day. In some parts of the world and culture, sexism is considered a norm, where females are stripped away of their rights to receive education or gain financial independence. In other places, women face sexual abuse or harassment and are silenced by social pressure, threats and sometimes unjust laws. While numerous success stories of women continue to inspire us every day, many women are suffering quietly in ways that we cannot imagine. Therefore, it's important that we actively learn about their struggles and do what we can to help them gain the resources and rights they need to lead their own lives.

Each month, Charitocracy and our amazing donors hand select women's charities that are devoted to empowering women in all ways possible. These can include helping women receive the rights to education, achieving financial independence, providing victims of sexual violence a safe community and courage to fight back, supporting women during crisis, and much more. By the end of the month, through voting we select one charity out of all the nominated charities from all 12 categories to which we donate our monthly pooled donations. Chances are, your favorite charities will win Charitocracy's monthly grant!

Take a look at the list below of currently nominated women's charities. See one that inspires you? If not, you can also nominate your favorite women's charity to add to our voting list! Join us now and empower a cause you care about! Also, feel free to check out our past women's charity winners or the other charitable causes Charitocracy supports.
