We host an annual St. Patrick's Day themed 5k raising money for 3 other local Connecticut children's charities.

Johnny’s Jog is a charity that is near to my heart because it was started in honor of a classmate of my daughter, Johnny Moran.  Johnny’s smile really did  light up a room, but he sadly succumbed to Wieacker Wolff Syndrome, a rare debilitating condition that affects the central and peripheral nervous systems in 2016.  His wonderful family started this charity which supports 3 other local children’s charities.  This year alone, they raised $90,000 to donate to Covenant Preparatory School of Hartford, The Miracle League of Connecticut and the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation.  As a tuition-free, values-based, interfaith, independent college preparatory school, Covenant Preparatory School provides a quality, rigorous education to middle school boys grades 5-8 from under-served communities.  The Miracle League of CT provides opportunities for Connecticut’s children with physical and cognitive challenges to participate in recreational, educational and cultural activities in an accessible, nurturing and noncompetitive environment where families can come together to cultivate new friendships and experience the joy of play.  The goal of the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation is to give guidance and financial support to families who have children with special needs.
